  • Computer Technology
    • Computerization upgrade to Dell Pentium II Zeon Dual Processor based NetServer. Individual workstations run Windows XP Pro.
    • Vantage 6.1 by DCD Corp. integrated manufacturing package for shop floor control, including MRP, real-time update of information from shop floor, dynamic scheduling - Bar Coded Job Process, A/P, A/R, cost estimating, purchasing, data collection, etc.
    • Major upgrades were performed from the first quarter of 2005 through the present time to bring existing computer workstations on line in the Network and processing at comparable speeds. Currently there are between 30 and 35 users on the central system, with additions being planned for in 2005 and beyond. The facility has been wireless & wired for processing from the front offices through to the shipping department, with shop-floor terminals for data collection.
    • EDI is run from a dedicated system, with back-up capabilities on several of the systems in-house, supported by Sterling Commerce, ST4, EDI-PC, and other software programs. Individuals in management, sales, purchasing and production scheduling are Internet connected for e-mail, etc.
    • LabelRight Ver. 2.91T Thermal Bar Code Package provides bar coding for any customer requirements (to the AIAG standard).
